Friday, Aug. 19, the Springfield Police Department will be issuing tickets of a different kind: meal tickets for patrons of Springfield Brewing Company. At the 14th annual Protect & Serve fundraiser, officers from the SPD will volunteer to serve alongside wait staff at the restaurant from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. to help raise money and...
